How can Pyrites be reduced ? (Oxidation of Pyrites)
Pyrites can not be reduced by addition of chemical additives to pond because of volume of water (about 4 Million Litres per Hactare)

Use of suitable microbes is practical solution. Thiobacillus ferrooxidans is found to be an effective microbe that releases certain Factors to break Ferrous Sulphide to Ferrous Oxide which is less harmful to pond environment.
