Some examples of what neem can do for crops are listed below:

Citrus
Citrus black fly (Aleurocanthus Woglumi) can be controlled by Hymenopterous parasites and coccid beetles. The feeding damage can be reduced by simultaneously spraying of neem. Avoidance of toxic products is necessary because they would also kill the beneficial insects in the orchards.

Vegetables
Spraying neem every 15 days can reducethe damage caused by aphide, jassids, thrips and whiteflies. This will also prevent the build-up of pests like diamond-back moth, which is one of the most harmful pests, particularly to cabbage.

Fruits
Neem is effective against fruit flies. Med fly, one of the most damaging horticulture pests, can be controlled by spraying neem solution under fruit trees.

Grapes
Flea beetle, scales, thrips and jassids can be prevented by monthly spraying of neem.

Apples
Spring damage can be avoided by spraying neem, as this prevents the laying of eggs by insects.

Mangoes
Hoppers can be kept under control by spraying neem

Melons and cucumbers
Fruit flies, caterpillars and beetles can be avoided by spraying neem every twoweeks.

Tea
The multiplication of tea mosquitoes can be avoided by spraying neem.

Coffee
Green and red bugs, shot hole borers, thrips and leave miners attack 

plants and berries. This can be avoided by spraying neem until the harvest.

Sugar cane
Spraying neem can control the multiplication of white flies.

Chillies
The damage caused by thrips, pod borers, caterpillars and aphids can be avoided by spraying neem every two weeks.

Rice
Two to three sprays of neem can control pests like brown plant hopper, green leafhopper, leaf folders and stemborers. Neem causes the increase of the parasitisation of larvae pupae and the decrease ofthe hatchability of eggs.

Cotton 
Sucking insects often damage the plants in their early stages. The prevention of the build-up these insects can be avoided by spraying neem every 15days. Nymphs can also be controlled by spraying neem. This should be done in the egg laying time.

Pomegranate 
Spraying neem prevents butterflies from laying their eggs on flowers and young fruits.

Onion
Thrips and maggots can be controlled by spraying neem every 15 days.

Tobacco
Neem is useful as an anti-feedant and ovipositional repellent against the damages caused by tobacco caterpillar or tobacco cutworm.
